Here I am at London's Heathrow Airport on a 4-hour layover, awaiting the final leg of the journey. On this flight, I will have a window seat; this makes me happy.
On this last flight I am traveling alone; some of the group are going to different destinations. I am flying on frequent flyer miles and was not able to book the same flight as the rest of the group returning to DFW. My flight will be about an hour after theirs, on a different airline. No worries, though. I enjoy flying.
We have had a wonderful trip, seeing many of France's treasured sights, and singing in some beautiful, sacred spaces. We have made new friends and touched the hearts of both friends and strangers. Our hearts, too, have been moved. Once again, our choir and pilgrimage "family" has made memories we will carry with us the rest of our lives, and for that we are thankful.
I/we have lots of pictures and video clips to post. Some people have been fortunate enough to get the wifi access to work well enough to post a few things. However, I am not in that number, so I will have much to do after returning home. I am looking forward to seeing everyone's posts. I hope you enjoy the pictures and videos we post as much as we have enjoyed taking them.
